ECHOES OF SORROW

A testament to the raw emotion and firm spirit of the Nashville community, coming together in demand of change after the devastating event of the Covenant School shooting. In this series of photos, we capture feelings of great sorrow and determination that hold a community together grimly determined to call an end to senseless violence. As faces of the young and old came to light from the crowd, expressions on their faces tell tales of lives irrevocably changed. This project not only memorializes the six victims, including three innocent nine-year-old children, but also serves as a poignant reminder of the urgent need for change.  Through the lens, we see a tapestry of unity and resilience, urging viewers to reflect on the pervasive impact of gun violence and the imperative for immediate action. In these frames, the wordless but powerful plea for safety and justice starts hitting hard and challenges one to turn sorrow into a purposeful change.
